This project consisted of an addition and renovation to existing spaces. The addition will add inmate housing to help alleviate overcrowding in the current facility. The roughly 7,000 square foot addition was constructed with concrete foundations, CMU block, structural steel, EPDM roofing and a metal panel exterior. Interior finishes include high-performance epoxy paint, metal casework, casework, high-security toilet accessories, skylights and VCT flooring.
The addition has 17 inmate rooms, restrooms, showers, nurses stations, a record room and an officer station.
The renovated portion of the project consisted of turning the facilities gymnasium into a recreational area with inmate beds. The construction included demolition, concrete work, new CMU, drywall and an overhead partition door. Interior finishes include high-performance epoxy paint, metal casework, casework, high-security toilet accessories, carpeting, and inmate chairs.
Construction includes all earthwork and site work improvements.
