SUNY Cortland Cheney Hall

This project consisted of a complete gut and renovation of a four-story 50,000 SF, a 92-bedroom dormitory on the SUNY Cortland Campus.

Work included demolition down to framing including removing all flooring and existing walls, saw cutting and removal of structural slabs and a portion of the slate roof to allow for the elevator shaft to be installed.

The dormitory had new bathrooms, dorm rooms had new doors and hardware installed, along with window repairs.

Electrical work included all new wiring and lighting. Mechanical work included new steam boilers for heating and hot water. A new sprinkler system was installed. A new entrance was added along with electronically controlled entrance doors installed.
