Job Title: Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver (CDL B)
Reports to: Dispatch Manager
Overview:
Perform tasks as directed
Responsible for:
Hauling material in and out of our jobs, mostly blacktop
Hauling pull behind trailer with equipment to jobs periodically
Pre-trip safety inspection daily and record and/or fix and all defects
Keeping paperwork for the truck updated as far as mileage sheets, time sheets, and inspection book
Keeping truck orderly and clean
Driving courteously and safely at all times
Following safe work procedures and safe work practices
Knowledge and Skills Required:
High School diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent role
OSHA 10
Qualitative and other attributes required:
Ability to work individually or as part of a team effort
Effective communication skills
Effective time management and logical decision- making ability
Capacity to handle pressure
Willingness to travel across FAHS construction sites
Physical and mental fitness
Physical Demands:
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to drive to job sites
Work Environment:
May occasionally work in temperatures above 100 or below 32 degrees
May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces
Noise level in the construction work environment is frequently loud
Required to wear Fahs issued hard hat, safety vest and safety glasses when working on construction site
Reliable transportation
Hours: This is a seasonal position 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
