Fahs Construction Group is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead field operations for a variety of projects. You’ll be responsible for overseeing site crews, equipment operations, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring projects meet our standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is hands-on — ideal for someone who thrives on dirt under their boots and results they can point to with pride.
What You Can Expect
As a Site Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and perform civil site work including grading, excavation, and utility installation
- Operate and manage construction equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.)
- Lay out and maintain grades, track project progress, and manage materials
- Coordinate manpower, deliveries, and equipment logistics
- Maintain project budgets and scheduling, including two-week look-aheads
- Ensure safe work practices and lead weekly safety/toolbox talks
- Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and payroll logs
- Capture and submit project photos and as-builts
- Uphold Fahs quality standards on all self-performed and subcontracted work

How You Know to Apply
You’re a strong candidate for this role if you bring:
Knowledge & Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in site/civil construction
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and interpreting construction documents
- Strong knowledge of Trimble Siteworks, Earthworks, and construction management tools
- Ability to lead crews, enforce safety, and maintain project momentum
- Familiarity with Prolog, MS Project, Excel, SureTrak, or similar platforms
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required

- Effective communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Highly organized with excellent time and cost management skills
- Physically and mentally fit to handle field conditions and demands

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods
- Bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders regularly
- Lift up to 100 lbs frequently
Work Environment
- Exposure to outdoor elements, including heat above 100°F and cold below 32°F
- May walk on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Will climb ladders
- Loud construction noise levels expected
- Required PPE: Fahs-issued hard hat, vest, and safety glasses
- Reliable transportation required
Certifications
- OSHA 10 required
- OSHA 30 preferred
