WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
As a Civil Estimator, you’ll play a key role in evaluating project opportunities and developing competitive, accurate estimates for utilities and site development work. You’ll work closely with the Estimating Manager and collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to support successful bids. Here’s what you can expect to be responsible for:

Reviewing blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Performing quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.

Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
-
Analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes.
-
Identifying potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
-
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors.

Preparing bid proposals and tender documents.
-
Tracking and updating estimates based on project changes.
-
Maintaining cost databases and historical records.
HOW DO YOU KNOW TO APPLY
Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of construction estimating experience.

Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.

Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Proficiency in estimating software.

Excellent MS Office skills.

Excellent written, communication, organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
