This project involved constructing a 500′ x 180′ pre-engineered building system atop an existing asphalt pad. The facility includes a specialized bump-out structure designed to enclose the nozzle of the salt conveyor, enhancing operational efficiency and environmental protection.
Key features of the project include:
- Reinforced Concrete Push Walls: Installed along the building’s interior perimeter, these walls facilitate safe and efficient material handling, ensuring durability and reliability.
- Comprehensive Site Development: The project encompassed earthwork, drainage, and utility installations, as well as the construction of a fire access road encircling the main building, meeting safety regulations and providing critical emergency access.
- Advanced Electrical Systems: Implemented power distribution networks, energy-efficient interior lighting, and integrated life safety systems to ensure operational reliability and emergency preparedness.
This facility provides enhanced storage capacity and streamlined material handling processes, meeting the needs of large-scale operations that require reliable salt storage solutions. The project reflects a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, ensuring long-term functionality and compliance with industry standards.
