WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
A Construction Estimator at Fahs Construction Group will thrive within our Estimating Department by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of bid documents, construction processes, and specialized knowledge in concrete foundations, site work, and commercial paving. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing project details, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing estimating tools to develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret bid documents, plans, and specifications.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Collaborate with project teams to develop competitive bids.
Research and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Assist the estimating team on bid day.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry costs, trends, and standards.
HOW DO YOU KNOW TO APPLY?
Qualifications:
Preferred 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating.
Proficiency in concrete foundations and site work estimation.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Familiarity with estimating software and tools is a plus.
