Fahs Construction Group has just completed the Catholic Family Center: Restart Outpatient Facility in downtown Rochester, New York. This seven-story building has been transformed into a state of the art treatment and education facility for people battling addiction as well as the corporate headquarters for the Catholic Family Center Organization. This building includes a full commercial kitchen, training rooms, conference rooms, and office space.

This had been an extremely challenging project. The building was donated to the Catholic Family Center ten years ago and sat dormant until construction began in 2015. This project was originally an eight-month duration but turned into an 18-month duration due to the numerous structural steel changes needed to make the building safe for reconstruction.

The exterior work included a new one-story building addition for storage, a patio area, and new emergency generator, exterior windows, and storefront along with a complete repainting of the exterior EFIS. The interior construction included three new elevators, a stairwell, a Daikin System for heating and air conditioning, all new plumbing pipe and equipment, interior partitions and lighting.
