Fahs Construction served as General Contractor for the complete renovation and conversion of a former distribution warehouse into a clean, modern workplace for Green Mountain Electric Supply.

Scope of Work

  • Interior build-out of new offices, conference space, locker rooms, break room, and copy room.
  • Total square footage of 3,841
  • Coordination of MEP, drywall, painting, ceilings, flooring, ceramic tile, storefront systems, doors & hardware

This project involved constructing a 500′ x 180′ pre-engineered building system atop an existing asphalt pad. The facility includes a specialized bump-out structure designed to enclose the nozzle of the salt conveyor, enhancing operational efficiency and environmental protection.

Key features of the project include:

  • Reinforced Concrete Push Walls: Installed along the building’s interior perimeter, these walls facilitate safe and efficient material handling, ensuring durability and reliability.
  • Comprehensive Site Development: The project encompassed earthwork, drainage, and utility installations, as well as the construction of a fire access road encircling the main building, meeting safety regulations and providing critical emergency access.
  • Advanced Electrical Systems: Implemented power distribution networks, energy-efficient interior lighting, and integrated life safety systems to ensure operational reliability and emergency preparedness.

This facility provides enhanced storage capacity and streamlined material handling processes, meeting the needs of large-scale operations that require reliable salt storage solutions. The project reflects a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, ensuring long-term functionality and compliance with industry standards.

Fahs Construction Group completed a 17,500-square-foot manufacturing facility for Newcut Manufacturing in Newark, NY. This pre-engineered metal building features a clean room, dark room, concrete foundation with a green ice-treated slab, and a concrete tank containment area. The facility includes two overhead doors for process access and office spaces with a conference room, break room, open offices, and bathrooms.

Exterior work included earthmoving, utilities, a paved parking area, and landscaping. Designed for high-tech manufacturing, this project highlights Fahs Construction Group’s expertise in delivering precision-focused environments like clean rooms for industries such as semiconductors and advanced materials.
