Fahs Construction Group is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to take ownership of field operations on a project from layout through closeout. You’ll run the day-to-day on-site, coordinate crews and subcontractors, keep the schedule and budget on track, and hold the line on quality and safety. This role is built for someone who runs a tight site and takes pride in handing over a job done right.
What You Can Expect
As a Project Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:
- Own all field operations on the project, from layout through punch list
- Work directly from construction documents, plans, and specifications
- Build and maintain the schedule, including the overall plan and two-week look-aheads, alongside the Project Manager
- Manage on-site foremen and coordinate craft labor, scaling crews to the work
- Hold labor, material, equipment, and trucking budgets
- Coordinate deliveries, verify material quantities, and track all Fahs and rented equipment with daily inspections
- Coordinate subcontractors: run weekly progress meetings, keep them on contract and on schedule, and review billings with the Project Manager
- Lead safety on site: weekly toolbox talks, daily walk-throughs, OSHA and Fahs compliance, SDS, and lockout/tagout
- Uphold Fahs quality standards on self-performed and subcontracted work
- Keep daily reports, safety documentation, and craft payroll current in HH2 and submit weekly
- Track changes, back charges, and time and material tickets, and notify the Owner’s Representative and Project Manager
- Set up site logistics and temporary utilities, capture progress photos, keep as-builts current, and drive testing, permits, and punch list through to turnover

You’re a strong candidate for this role if you bring:
Knowledge & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent role (commercial, higher education, and healthcare construction experience preferred)
- Knowledge of civil engineering, construction, and architectural principles, practices, and methods
- Sound understanding of workplace safety, budgeting, and crew supervision
- Proficiency reading building plans and specifications
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Prolog, MS Project, Excel, SureTrak, and Submittal Exchange
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred

Physical Demands

- May walk on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Will climb ladders
- Loud construction noise levels expected
- Required PPE: Fahs-issued hard hat, vest, and safety glasses
- Reliable transportation required
Certifications
- OSHA 10 required
