Project Name: Trout Creek Bridge

Description: TROUT CREEK BRIDGE
The Trout Creek Bridge over the Cannonsville Reservoir is a riveted steel girder bridge superstructure with five simple spans with an overall length of 748 feet and a width of 33 feet. The reconstruction consists of replacement of the existing concrete deck and steel superstructure, and replacement of backwalls and wingwalls. The superstructure work includes replacement of the existing superstructure with new A588 steel plate girders and replacement of the bearings at the piers and abutments with new multi-rotational bearings. The substructure work includes rehabilitation of the piers and replacement of the abutment backwalls and wingwalls.

MURPHY HILL CULVERT
The Murphy Hill Culvert is a single-span, cast-in-place, reinforced box culvert 242 feet long and 9 feet wide. The reconstruction consists of extending the existing culvert with new end treatments and wingwalls along with the installation of a new aluminum structural plate arch liner inside the culvert.

DOWNSTREAM DAM BRIDGE
The Downstream Dam Bridge spans the Delaware River (Cannonsville Reservoir outflow) is a precast prestressed concrete I-beam bridge consisting of five simple spans with an overall length of 250 feet and a width of 29 feet. The reconstruction consists of replacement of the existing concrete deck and concrete superstructure. The superstructure work consists of replacement of the existing concrete I-beams and diaphragms, including replacement of the existing bearings at piers and abutments with new elastomeric bearings. The substructure work includes concrete repairs to piers and abutments.
