Project Name: Memorial Street Bridge
Location:  Binghamton, NY

Description: This Construction Contract required the reconstruction of a 5 span concrete arch bridge spanning the Chenango River. The existing spandrel walls were demolished and rebuilt with high performance concrete. The bridges 4 piers were reconstructed with hand built bull nose forms and included 469 cubic meters of heavy stone placed for scour protection. The colored concrete cross walks, concrete bridge deck, sidewalks and Texas bridge barrier were all constructed with high performance concrete and the cross walks included architectural patterning. There were 34 decorative light poles installed as well as numerous traffic safety improvements.
